Signs of Spring

Although the day is overcast and rainy, there is a wonderful feeling of Spring! The water in the lake is now moving freely after standing still all winter in its frozen state. Last week we had ice hover crafts on the lake and today we saw our first motor boat of the season.
In the yard we can see the young green shoots coming through the soil as our flowers are beginning to come out of hibernation. The snow has disappeared and we are hopeful that we have seen the last of it for the season.
