Dorothea was presented with the 2009 Excellence in Educational Leadership Award on Wednesday, June 16 at the Indiana Urban Education Conference in Indianapolis by the Dean of the Indiana University School of Education, Gerardo Gonzalez.In addition to the foto of the certificate, there is a low-quality video of the presentation here.
Dorothea made some comments at the podium following the presentation of the recognition. I will try to post that portion of the video a little later today on this same site.
We celebrated at the Weber Grill in downtown Indy following the event. And, yes there was wine involved with that celebration.
